Niki is specialized in arbitration and litigation. He has successfully advocated cases before Finnish courts and arbitral tribunals (FAI, ICC, SCC) in numerous industries, including the construction, energy, shipping, international trade and professional services industries. While globally responsible for disputes at a large Nordic bank, Niki also gained special litigation experience from the financial industry and cases related to insolvency, securities markets and investment services.
In addition, Niki has several years of experience related to corporate crime, environmental offences, work safety offences and various other issues of professional and directors’ liability.
Niki regularly advises clients on general corporate and commercial law as well as on employment law matters. Clients highly appreciate Niki’s analytical yet pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
He has published law review articles, especially in the field of procedural law, and also participates in the discussion of topical legal phenomena through articles and blog texts.
Currently, Niki is a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Finnish Bar Association, which oversees attorneys in Finland, a member of the Finnish Bar Association’s security markets and finance law legal expert team, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Helsinki Bar Association.
